Homework will be given out for the week.  Your child has a homework folder.  He or she will bring it home every Monday (or the first day of the week).  Homework folders will be due by Friday (or the end of the week).  Each week will have a cover sheet that will list the homework for Reading, Spelling, and Math.  Every week your child will need to read one book (remember leveled readers and hard reading books count towards this).  Don't forget to sign the reading log.   Also, every week your child should practice their high-frequency words at home.  They should also read their weekly story and the leveled readers that come home.  Homework folders may be turned in earlier than Friday.
